Rossing was the</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">son of Lars and Helena Rossing, proprietors of a thriving general</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">store in Argyle, Wisc., that opened in 1870 and remained in</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">business for over a century.
