Correspondence and legal papers concerning a prominent family who were the descendents of Osul Torrison, pioneer merchant and ship owner in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The donor of the papers, Martha Torrison, was the daughter of Dr. George A. Torrison, a professor at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Includes: Agnes Torrison letters (postcards to Martha and Agnes); Osul Torrison estate; Isaac Torrison estate; Norman Torrison, William Torrison documents; O. Torrison Company papers (including photograph of sons George, Isaac, and Oscar); C.C. Stewart (husband of Agnes M. Torrison) will, 1939; concerning death, will, insurance of Martha Torrison (includes 1902 photograph Martha and Agnes).
