Childhood Memories (42 p. typescript) of reminiscences of childhood days spent in the Perry parsonage, western Dane County, Wisconsin, by a daughter of Abraham Jacobson, Lutheran parish pastor from 1868 to 1878. Written in informal style, Childhood Memories gives a glowing, detailed account of church, school, books, music, dress, entertainment, trips, playmates, guests, parsonage, garden and household and farm employees. There is special mention made of Olaus Jensen Breda, Ole Bull, Aanund B. Dahle, John N. Fjeld, Gulbrand Jensvold, Monona Academy, and the devastating tornado of 1878. Also includes a scrapbook of clippings of her writings from Decorah-Posten and Reform. Also, letters from H.H. Einung, 1928 - 1931 (Rjukan). Clara Jacobson was a teacher and author.
